How to Use the Spin the Wheel
Our free picker wheel makes it effortless to launch a wheel spin online for random decisions, classroom activities, and fair giveaways. Whether you need a versatile spinning wheel for party games, a reliable wheel picker for daily choices, or an easy wheel spinner picker for contests, our spin the wheel - random picker delivers instant results. Follow these three simple steps to customize and spin your wheel in seconds:
- Enter Custom Items: Type or paste your options, names, numbers, or decisions into the Wheel Entries text box with one entry per line. The vector wheel immediately updates with vibrant segments.
- Customize & Calibrate: Click Shuffle to randomize slice order, toggle sound effects on or off, or use the Share Wheel button to generate an instant link with your saved entries.
- Spin for Fair Results: Click the large center SPIN button or press the Enter key. Watch the physics-driven wheel decelerate realistically and reveal the winning slice with confetti fanfare. Eliminate choices by removing selected winners from the active list to prevent duplicate picks in subsequent rounds.
True Randomness & Fairness Guarantee
Every spin on Spin the Wheel is computed using the browser's hardware-backed Web Cryptography API (crypto.getRandomValues()). Unlike standard pseudo-random functions like Math.random() which suffer from modulo bias and predictable seed sequences, our cryptographic random generator produces unbiased 32-bit entropy. Every wheel segment maintains an exact, mathematically uniform probability of being chosen regardless of how many times you spin.
Privacy and integrity are built directly into our client-side architecture. All calculation algorithms, slice weighting formulas, and user entry lists execute 100% within your local browser memory. No names, participant rosters, or spin histories are ever transmitted to external servers, cloud databases, or tracking third parties. This guarantees full FERPA and COPPA compliance for schools, private classrooms, and corporate decision meetings.
